Breaking News: Dick Cheney is a Liar

On Friday, the Senate Intelligence Committee released a report that concluded there was no relationship between Saddam Hussein and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. According to the report, “a CIA assessment in October 2005 concluded that Hussein’s government ‘did not have a relationship, harbor, or turn a blind eye toward Zarqawi and his associates.’” In fact, Hussein tried to capture Zarqawi.

This morning on Meet the Press, Cheney repeatedly cited Zarqawi as the link between pre-war Iraq and al-Qaeda. When Tim Russert mentioned the Senate Intelligence Committee report, Cheney said he “hadn’t seen it.”

What can you say? What can you do?

Well, Tim just let the whole matzah ball just hanging there. If the preeminent news program isn't willing to challenge his bald face lies, then what possible action is available?

I agree with Azael. The so-called "news" media is absolutely useless when it comes to challenging the Cheney Administration.

CHENEY: 1+1=3.

RUSSERT: Are you aware are that most first-graders would disagree?

CHENEY: I skipped the first grade.

RUSSERT: Okay. Moving on, you seem to have lost some weight...

Cheney is repeating that lie for his base, so they have something to hang on to. He knows he can't persuade the readers of this blog, but the inhabitants of FoxNews-istan need to be fed. Fed big fat juicy lies.

Vote them out. Take their hands off the steering wheel.

Because, in office, they will never change. Cheney least of all. You will go to bed thinking "well, after that blindside body-slam from the empirical world of actual reality, those bastards will never raise their sorry heads again, much less foist disastrous policies on a now-aroused citizenry", and you will arise the following morn to learn that they've invaded Iran.

Because 1 + 1 really DOES equal 3. The proof, linked to approvingly by hundreds of allies, is that 3 - 1 = 1!! - Plus, if you guys are so smart, why aren't YOUR people running the government?

Vote. Them. Out.
