Man, this here book meme just keeps going around and round yet nobody ever tags me. I read books! Just saying....

Oh, c'mon. We live in a world where girls are no longer expected to sit passively at home and wait for the gentlemen callers to come along, but, I'm told, we may actually take the initiative in pursuing the guys (I say I'm told since I in no way have ever had the nerve to attempt this). Why, in such a world, should a blogger be expected to sit passively waiting for the meme to come to him, rather than just answer the damn questions already, as opposed to playing coy trying to get someone to ask you?

Note: in no way do i intend to compare Matthew Yglesias to a girl.
