I heartily agree with Beam. I caved in and bought Fiasco and regret it terribly. Cobra II is better. Due to the sycophantic nature of Ricks' reporting the disdainful and self righteous tone of Fiasco is insulting.

I've also found that the blogosphere greatly increases the opportunities to not read books.

I find Gilbert's fondness for xbox, burgers and personal grudges much easier to identify with than the habits of many other pro athletes. But that dedication to physical fitness...that is completely foreign to me. Weird.
