Augusto Pinochet, coup-leader and human rights abuser, is dead. Jeanne Kirkpatrick, also dead, was a big fan.

Shame he died of old age.
When the devil wants his due, he gets it.
Milton Friedman, also dead, was a trusted advisor.
One a week - the devil's running up a real coup.
They should feed his body to hogs.
Why do they hate us?
Oh yeah.
Thank you CIA!!

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to wonder why Von Braun makes this list . . .

To quote Tom Lehrer:
"some have harsh words for this man of renown/
but some say our attitude should be one of gratitude/
Like the widows and cripples in old London town/
who owe their large pensions to Werner Von Braun."

Right now, I picture Pinochet, along with Pol Pot, doing a kickline routine with Himmler and Werner Von Braun at the Cabaret along the River Styx. It's a wonderful show, full of song and dance, and a little slap and tickle. Ah, yes, the monsters of yore, now entertainment on some cheap riverboat in hell where the lower level demons go to gamble their welfare checks. Strike up the band!
