CNN's Travel and Leisure section says MidCity (the apparently not-fake name for my neighborhood, though nobody seems to use it) is the shit. The New York Times says nobody's buying all these condos that are under construction in the neighborhood. So now's your chance to get a good deal (sort of) on the coolest neighborhood in the universe. Or, at least, in Washington, DC.

Stupid comment parser. Try 3!
"Having lived there just a few years ago I think I can state authoritatively that the coolest neighborhood in DC (less than symbol) just about any other neighborhood anywhere in any city ever."
As a note, there is a thing called HTML encoding that would allow people to use less than and greater than symbols without destroying their submitted comments!
But do you live in the Heart of MidCity?
Thanks for the link to the Times story -- my son was born at Columbia Hospital for Women, 12 yrs ago, and seeing the photo conjured up many sweet memories. I don't live in Washington anymore, but do get there frequently on bidness.
'MidCity' may well be the best neighborhood in the district (though Mount Pleasant gets my vote) but, per the CNN bit, citing Poets and Busboys does not help make the case. Shoulda left that part burnt.
To display a < or > sign, Use "& l t" or "& g t" except without the spaces.
Since that area is now called "mid city", maybe they better change the Metro station name to:
Mid city/U Street/African-American Civil War Memorial/Cardozo
Oh, is that what they're calling Shaw now?
