Capps came home complaining about Yoko Ono so, obviously, I had to unearth the Fluxus blog. I think it's kind of cool. In his defense, he's bitter because he had to miss the Suns-Mavs game which, I think, mostly proved that losing Eric Dampier is not good for Dallas. Losing Caron Butler, by contrast, is absolutely catastrophic for the Wizards; without him, we're doomed.

Suns, not Spurs.
Wow. Good thing you have a book contract - the level of writing in America has been too high for too long.
Years ago now --late eighties or early nineties -- MOMA(NY)had a fairly large exhibit of Fluxus when I was in town. It was about as funny as art could be and still be "serious." I'd never seen more than one or two pieces of Fluxus before then and I loved it, even the few short films on display.
There were several artists I liked better than Ono, but she did some good stuff and it actually made me respect her.
It's better than basketball, even!

Yup. Condolences.
On the bright side, I don't think you were getting out of the first round even if he'd been healthy, so it's not that huge a loss. But you did have some small amount of hope before this news...
It's been a bad injury year for the '03/'04 Miami Heat. Wade, Odom, and Butler have all had serious problems.
Why was Poppa Capps complaining about Ono? That is, why complaining rather than discussing her in some other way?
Fine, I'll ask him.
We need the Wizards to turn it up and get the second seed here.

Good God, man, it's Suns-Mavs. I understand the frequent typos and seeming complete lack of proofreading. But at least get the NBA teams right. It's about credibility.
