Why Don't You Guys Ever Report the Good News?

Possibly because the "good things" happening in Iraq turn out to be sandcastles: "inspectors for a federal oversight agency have found that in a sampling of eight projects that the United States had declared successes, seven were no longer operating as designed because of plumbing and electrical failures, lack of proper maintenance, apparent looting and expensive equipment that lay idle."

What I think we can conclude with some certainty is that once Barik "fresh face" Obama becomes president (I'd accept an Edwards/Obama ticket too but I don't know what I'll do if one of these lib Hitler Hillary types gets the nomination) there will be "good things" happening everywhere (except Iraq because the Rethugs fubard it up in their tolly un-DemocratIC War way) even in the hearts and minds of everyone (by which I obviously the people with hearts and minds as opposed to people who believe in school choice and other Vichy Dems).

PS When they are gonna make Sullyman get a commynts thread so that I might ejaculate verbally on the themes he proffers in his articles of prose and verse?

Before one gets too enthusiastic about Mr. Obama, read the op-ed by Robert Kagan, one of the infamous Kagans in the attached link. The article seems rather positive. One should be cautious about supporting a candidate about which a Kagan has something good to say.
