Via Julian Sanchez. The art accompanies this article about Spencer Ackerman. I've gotta get someone to write a profile of me some day, but I'm hoping to avoid getting fired.

Good article. Good cartoon.

A balding guy with beard and glasses? Come on Matt you can totally claim its you!

"The Plank". Nice. Now I'll see Spence every time I'm on their url.

Great piece of art!

Although--since it's primarily intended to provide a visual parallel to a piece of text--I'd class it as an "illustration" rather than a "cartoon." Illustrators, by the way, generally hate being called cartoonists.

Reading yet another account of the Ackerman dealio just makes me sad about Frank Foer. Is it possibly to seperate the slightly nerdy, goofily charming, yuppie soccer impressario from the marty peretz lapdog (No, not James Kirchick...you homophobe). I guess the man who wrote "How Soccer Explains the World" is no longer with us, pour a 40 for our homie.

And the knife, for that matter...

Illustrators, by the way, generally hate being called cartoonists.

Well, and tracers generally hate being called tracers; yet it's what they are.

When you get that illustration, you'll be holding the knife and Mr. Peretz will be taking the slow march towards political oblivion.
