There are, indeed, way too many no-see, no-listen, no-think, no-brain conservatives here; but there's no shortage of those anywhere in these United States. By the way, Democrats did carry major NC counties in the last two elections.
If you look with clear eyes, you'll find some damn good hearts behind heavy accents in rural North Carolina. And if you need a hand, you'll find that too, without having to look very far.
