You can also "throw in some enthusiasm" from AIPAC and the rest of the Israel lobby, spearheaded by Joementum who will be more than happy to return the favor of Bloomberg's support in defeating Lamont in the CT election.

Justin, that's simultaneously a too sinister and not sinister enough view of AIPAC. It's too sinister for thinking that they're behind things which there's no particular reason to think they are, and not sinister enough for failing to note that all options on the table appear to be fairly good ones for AIPAC.

Ahh, but some options may "appear" to be better than others. For instance, that guy with the Muslim name, who knows what he was taught in the Indonesian madrassa? And the Clinton woman? There she was playing up to Arafat, and her husband tried to give everything away to him in 2000.

If Michael Bloomberg tries to buy an election with Joe Lieberman as a running mate, AIPAC has become a quaint footnote in history.

Justin,

When in doubt, blame the Jews, right?

Scumbag.

ILP

Hey, just for the record, I pissed away college. I've played around with the idea of going back, but I keep working dead end sort of jobs with college grads and don't think it's much of an investment. Then I find out that intellectual luminaries like ILP and SLC hold doctorates and I feel way, way, better about myself for not bothering with higher education.
