Party like it's 1599?

Actually given their reasoning I was wondering if they might get Joe Lieberman involved in the project.

It's so good to finally find a political blogger who makes T.I. references.

Oddly, the rationale seems to be that children ought not to be exposed to pro-jihad violence . . .

It's always about the children.

“'Watching CDs showing violence is not good for the children,' a source quoting senior Taliban commanders told Daily Times.

But blowing up the building where the children are watching the violence is perfectly acceptable and not harmful in any way to the children.

I must say, though, it's refreshing to see that using the "won't someone please think of the children" line as an excuse to clamp down on what adults do stretches across cultural boundaries. And folks say we have nothing in common with the Islamist fanatics over in Afghanistan...

How do you watch a CD?

Haha - yeah, big points for the subtle TI check. Coupled with the news of Edwards' well-received speech, my day has been made.
