Sea kayaking tends to induce fatigue, especially when you know longer really recall correct kayaking method.

Banal Observation of the Day

darnit! I wanted to be the first one to point out Matt's typo! How will I get that inflated sense of superiority now?
I noticed a too/to error the other day.
If I make those sort errors, I've noticed it's because I was drinking. I bet there were other factors involved in the poor kayak skills other than a memory lapse.
I'd rather he got the homonyms and typos wrong, and the observations right. They're impeccable grammarians over at The Corner.
I've noticed a lot of odd phrasings today. (Cf. the first sentence of the post preceding this one.) I imagine that's what sea kayaking does to a person. Having done a 22-mile bike ride this morning, I know the feeling.
MattY thinks this is funny, but it could have been a tragedy. At the very least there should be a few firings, and possibly even criminal prosecutions.
My staff knows to keep up to date on the activities I participate in; in this case one would have been on hand to help remind me of the proper technique.
I just thank God this was just kayaking and not polo or F1. MattY: please contact me for some recommendations on some good people.
i plan my seakayak trips with the tide in mind, i have taken quite a few naps induced by paddling fatigue, only to wake up a little nearer my destination.

" . . . .especially when you know longer really recall . . ." the difference between *know* and *no*.
Sheesh.
