Spackerman has the muck on DC's newest "regime change in Iran" think tank.

The difficult with this administration and Iran is that, though there official position is regime change, they don't particularly like the idea of Iran being run by a bunch of young, vaguely socialist Iranian students. The problem with regime change is you have to have something to change into. There's a real tension between the neocon desire for sweeping change in power structures throughout the world, and the classic conservative distrust of revolutionary change.
