Dykes Taking Over

09 Jul 2007 10:31 am

Bill O'Reilly warns of the lesbian menace to our youth:

This is via Jessica Valenti. See details at Pandagon and Orcinus. With Le Tigre on hiatus, I think Dykes Taking Over could be the name of a band aimed at filling that niche. See also Lesbians on Ecstasy.

I'm neither a lesbian nor a gun owner, but I have to admit both become proportionately more appealing with the prospect of Bill-o finally stroking out.

I'm kinda partial to Pink Glocks as a band name.

I don't know what the fuss is. Surely it is time for lesbian gangs to take over the world. I'd like to see any Wahabis mess with our Dykes.

Don't forget the big picture here. The lesbian threat was one of those stories Rupert Murdoch encouraged O'Reilly to broadcast to distract from the immigration debate.

Jessica Valenti -- any relation to the late Jack Valenti?

"Just Say No" was pretty effective for an anti-drug message.

How about "Think Outside the Box" for an anti-lesbian gang campaign?

@BadJoker: That has many layers, m'friend.

With this post, you have won me over. From now on, MY will be my primary destination, preferred over the esteemed (and unfortunately unprolific and too moderate for my taste) Kevin Drum.

I reckon for Bill O, there's an age-old formula....

Dykes={Hillary Clinton} +{All Women btw 19 yr and 34 yr of age Who've Resisted the Loofa}.

Its obviosly a very dangerous crew, possibly fascist as per Jonah. Who knows what they could do, they cannot be controlled.

Clearly any chick who passed on an offer of exfoliation and buttering-up from an acne-scarred, road-raged, self-pitying, middle aged and out-of-shape Long Island Irish Catholic broadcasting legend with a high personal net worth but who retains the common touch of a bent Nassau County cop could only be sipping at the fountain of Sappho. There is no other explanation.

He's a martyr.

The "pink" pistols makes me think that O'Reilly and his sources can't spot a fast-moving drag queen when they see one. Over the past 20 years, I have heard intermitent reports from the police and neighbors of a gang of Hispanic drag queens who were running a burglary ring in Houston's Montrose area. Still, even those "guys" are not piling into Daddy's SUV with baseball bats and driving out to the suburbs to beat up straight guys.

What gets me in this report is the question about the groups "indoctrinating the youth" into the lesbian lifestyle. As if Teh Gay is so enticing and so addictive that all it takes is to be raped by someone of the same sex and you're committed for life.

I wonder if they advocate raping known lesbians to turn them straight. No doubt they have confidence in their own powers to do so. (Although I suspect that having sex with Bill-O could turn any woman off of men forever.)

Now I'm pissed off. No one recruited me to be gay...I had to ask to be let in. It's like being picked last in P.E.

The correct post title was "Dykes to Watch Out For".

Yeah, you know O'Reilly. Always trying to draw negative attention away from the immigrants...

Wow. Sounds really...prevalent.

"They cause a lot of hurt to a lot of people."

That's some crack crime analyzing from the Fox News Crime Analyst. All the data I need.

Anyways, any excuse I can find for seeing chicks fight on t.v. is good enough.

Oh and Matt, you might as well post Olbermann's rebuttal:

Fortunately for me, my part of the country was settled largely by immigrants from Holland. Everybody knows the story about how the little Dutch boy saved his country from lesbians . . .

I take pride in "Dykes Taking Over" being native to the City of Sisterly Love. Man would I pay to see that gang kick the shit out of O'Reilly.

Looks like O'Reilly and his guest have watched The Warriors one too many times. I'm sure a hard-hitting expose on Baseball-inspired face-painting youths is sure to follow this piece on the Lizzies.
