Malibu Trailer Park

30 Jul 2007 01:20 pm

Someone's charging $400,000 for a mobile home, surely a sign of the end times. That comes via Sara Mead who offers the education policy angle, but another friend assures me that the trailer park in question has fantastic views.

Has your Sara ever taught in an inner-city high school, or is she just a theorist? Just curious.

Anyhow, the high-priced Malibu mobile homes are old news. I remember reading about one selling for $1 million a couple of years ago.

It's all about the Rockford Files.

I'm shocked by the $2k/month hookups- that's the same as they'd pay on the mortgage. What utilities do they get for that- phone, gas, cable, electric, water, and liquid gold?

Thank you noumenalself. I too would pay $400,000 to live in Paradise Cove.

$400 k in Paradise Cove is a steal.

You guys out in FHA-land just don't get it.
