How The Hottness Was Won

22 Aug 2007 08:53 am

Salon's Farhad Manjoo has the scoop on my roommates' cheating to win the FishbowlDC hottest media types competition. The hotties themselves respond here.

UPDATE: For the record, Spencer is, of course, not a "New Republic staffer" as the Salon piece says -- he's up to his eyes in muck.

Hottness? Sheesh, Matt. The number of proofreading errors in this blog is outrageous. Ever heard of spellcheck?

It seems to me that this is the sort of thing where people claim to not care, and talk about how ridiculous the whole thing is, but secretly do care.

"Robots," says Kriston,"have always had a thing for me."

How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world,
That has such people in't!

This is the most ridiculous/best thing that's ever happened. One day I may have to move to a city less obviously owned and populated by hipster nerds, and on that day I'll be kinda sad.

The vlog is worth watching and quite funny.

Hottness?

Get with the times, THS.

I prefer "hawtness" myself.

Looks more like hautness to me.

Color me shockness.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.........
