See here. Does anyone actually pay attention to Bill Kristol? If Rupert Murdoch decided tomorrow that he didn't want to subsidize Kristol's magazine and pay him to appear on his television network, would someone snap him up?

He writes for Time magazine.
The neocon pundit stable will always find jobs in the corporate media.
It doesn't matter how they discredited they are.

Why Bill Kristol Needs A Kick In The Crotch With Steel Toed Boots.
Does anyone actually pay attention to Bill Kristol?
Oh, the 25% who still support President Colossal Fuckup and watch Fox News every day pay attention to Kristol. He tells them what they want to hear and he looks and sounds like a Very Serious Person.
Oh I don't know. Dan Quayle employed Bill Kristol as his Chief of Staff and found Bill to be very intelligent.

"Iraqi power grid nearing collapse By STEVEN R. HURST, Associated Press Writer
BAGHDAD - Iraq's power grid is on the brink of collapse because of insurgent sabotage, rising demand, fuel shortages and provinces that are unplugging local power stations from the national grid, officials said Saturday.
Electricity Ministry spokesman Aziz al-Shimari said power generation nationally is only meeting half the demand, and there had been four nationwide blackouts over the past two days. The shortages across the country are the worst since the summer of 2003, shortly after the U.S.-led invasion to topple Saddam Hussein, he said.
Power supplies in Baghdad have been sporadic all summer and now are down to just a few hours a day, if that. The water supply in the capital has also been severely curtailed by power blackouts and cuts that have affected pumping and filtration stations.
Karbala province south of Baghdad has been without power for three days, causing water mains to go dry in the provincial capital, the Shiite holy city of Karbala.
"We no longer need television documentaries about the Stone Age. We are actually living in it. We are in constant danger because of the filthy water and rotten food we are having," said Hazim Obeid, who sells clothing at a stall in the Karbala market. "

Gee, I wonder how Iraqis water the flowers whose petals they toss upon their American Liberators, according to the Neocons.
Not only does no one pay attention to him, except those who don't have to read him, he doesn't even care! Weekly Standard Editor William Kristol was online Monday, July 16 at Noon ET to discuss his Outlook article. Look how he answers a reader's question:
Greenbelt, Md.: You have been wrong about every important prediction you have made about the outcome of this war and this presidency -- why should anyone pay attention to you now?
William Kristol: Feel free not to!
See! He doesn't even want you to pay attention! His paymasters don't care if he's right either! In fact, they don't even care that he doesn't care. That's because Bush is never going to leave Iraq or stop spying on you! He doesn't care and neither does Bill Kristol. Or TIME or The Post.
Close, but no cigar- that should have been Kristol Myth.
Take William Krystol seriously?
He's just like George Will, and Bill O"Reilly and Rush Limbaugh. Who gives a damn what any of them say? All they have on the rest of us is a media to spout their one eyed gruel.
Their's is a job. They are money makers for the agencies they work for, NOTHING MORE.
And gruel is what they spout. Only the pigs eat it up.
You don't have to be a blind conservative not to see it, just an ignorant one to deny it.
The bemusing thing about people like Kristol is they flatter their own idea of reasonableness by "acknowledging" that serious mistakes have been made, but never, ever draw any actual conclusions from the fact. The empty gesture exempts him from offering any substantive ones. "I think everyone will agree that serious mistakes have been made" rolls off his tongue these days like quicksilver, in the apparent belief that persuading people one isn't totally blind is somehow tantamount to being considered persuasive.
Dennis, George Will doesn't belong in that group since he's acknowledged that Iraq is an unpopular failure.

Absolutely. Because if the last 6 years have taught us anything, it's that nothing succeeds in punditry as much as being consistently WRONG.

A sad state of affairs admittedly. In a perfect world Bill Kristol would be an insurance salesman with some wacky ideas he likes to share with his clients.
