How is it tongue in cheek? Seems like a straightforward account by Romanesko.
What I really like is that he seems to be regarding it as an example of media perfidy and lack of ethics. Given the identity of the malfactors (hey, it wasn't me -- I can't run bots from my work computer) shouldn't it be an example of bloggy perfidy?
I think Reynolds is the dumbest and least self-aware blogger out there except for maybe Roger L. Simon.

When you're Glenn Reynolds, any item, no matter how insignificant or tongue-in-cheek, that's evidence of a lying media is worth respect, and any evidence, no matter how overwhelming, of the failure of the Iraq war is evidence that the media lies.

insty can be really thick when the facts don't correspond to what he wants them to be. remeber when he spent months saying that he just didn't understand the valerie plame matter?
