Dave Berri makes the case that the Bobcats are likely to improve up to a level of solid mediocrity next season, and it doesn't even involve any wildly unorthodox statistical claims. Have I mentioned how demoralizing the Wizards' lack of offseason moves has been? I can easily imagine not making the playoffs now. I'm not sure there were any brilliant moves left on the table, but the team could have used something.

I almost stopped reading there... Actually KELLY DWYER makes the quite reasonable claim that the Bobbers might be decent next year, and Berri waves his magic Wins Produced wand to essentially agree...
As a lifelong Bullets, I mean Wizards, fan it hurts me to say this, but the organization just doesn't want to win. They're happy with a first round sweep because next year, if we're not injured, we might be able get beat in the second round instead of the first.
Ahh, the Wizards... so many frail ACLs, so little time...
Agent Zero discussing Chondrichthyes legal theory is more exciting than basketball, even if his thoughts on the matter are derivative. You're lucky.
