A Flickr user going by the name Racoles has a very nice collection of photos from the protests in Burma that are both worth a look and usable under a Creative Commons license for your blogging pleasure.

Hooray for public service blogging. The Burma protests have been all over the BBC World Service but I was missing visuals.
considering the recent news of violent reprisals by the military, the adjective "nice" maybe either inappropriate or premature.
Hmmm. Isn't that Brittany Spears third from the left?

I can't really put this together into a constructive argument, but stuff like this really makes me feel so frustrated with the Iraq war. I mean here's an honest-to-god organic liberation movement protesting against an oppressive military junta, and yet no one is arguing-- and really, no one should-- that we invade.
