dubious: Text messages (Short Message Services)
Makes sense. They're used where I am in China as informal news channels in times when the locals don't trust the media to tell them the real story (e.g. SARS, environmental disasters) so it should also work in the US as a way to bypass media filters and connect directly to the people.

I bet sending false information via text message would be a cost effective way of suppressing the young vote. You'd need a way to gather the info though. Perhaps a free pirated music download site that sent passwords via text message. Then, depending on the music downloaded, decide whether to screw the voter over by sending them to the wrong polling place.

And 'SMS' is what? Sado-masochism solution? Silly mainstream sensibility? Sonic milk surrender? Sensibly modern science?
help us out here, matt.
