Arenas/Halo

13 Oct 2007 07:40 pm

After announcing a forthcoming cartoon show or something, Gilbert Arenas goes on to address the Halo 3 cheating allegations at considerable length on his blog. Tom Lee scrutinizes the charges and the defense and says: "it's true that this isn't as vile as the glitch-based cheating that's also rampant on XBL. So it may not be necessary to call David Stern just yet. Tell you what, Gilbert: bring home a playoff appearance this season and we'll forget the whole thing ever happened." I'll agree with that.

Please god. Please let the blogosphere find something less inane to talk about than a basketball player and his videogaming habits.

Please.

Except there isn't glitch based cheating in Halo 3 yet. He's cheating the only way possible to cheat for a guy who easily afford to have 4 360s sitting around.

The troubling aspect of what Arenas wrote on his blog is that he plays Halo 14 hours a day! WTF?? Assuming the man sleeps 7 hours a day, eats, grooms, shits, and drives places the other, say, 2 and half hours a day, that leaves about a half hour to, you know, play basketball.

Halo 3 might be the worst thing that ever happened to the The Wizards.

1) I wish Gilbert Arenas was on my team.
2) Ar3nas pwns his critics lik3 3zra Kl3in pwns Andr3w Sullivan.
3) I feel cool knowing the etymology of Gazo.
4) Gilbert knows more about Halo 3 than Giuliani knows about foreign policy. A lot more.

Uh, who gives a shit.

He doesn't pretend to talk about 'important' stuff.

You, on the other hand, presumably talk about 'important' stuff, not the gaming habits of sport celebrities.

So why are your precious undergarments in a bunch?

Gilbert Arenas

Most. Blogable. NBA. Player. Ever.
