As others have noted, here Bill Clinton shows people how it's done:
I only wish he'd done a tad less of the tu quoque and said a bit more about the reality of Iraq and the indefensible policy the GOP is seeking to defend.

Damn he's good. I miss Bill, don't you?
I don't miss him. In fact, the more I see him the more irritated I get. He's not been good for the Democratic party. As to how "good" he is, wasn't he "good" when he apologized for doing diddly squat when Rwanda was in turmoil? But hey, Bill provided major funding for the Rwandan genocide memorial in Kigali, so I guess he's off the hook - at least with those who he's managed to hypnotize.
Clinton was a great politician, a good president, and a shitty leader of the Democratic Party.
Clinton is a 1st rate politician. (Better than Hillary by a long mark.) The moment demanded a political act -- land a right cross to the GOP noise machine's jaw. Which is what he did. Again and again. It wasn't a time for policy statements. It was a time for eye-gouging and ear-biting. There are such times for both in politics. No need to mix-and-match. Better to keep the threads separate.
And that is why he is the Big Dog!
I don't get it. Why is the Big Dog doing this now? Lets face it. He let the Democratic party go to pot under his watch(see Terry McAuliffe). He didn't stand up to the Rethugs as much as he should have. Why is it that he hits back hard at these bastards(like Chris Wallace), only after he left the WH? The Clinton's are do damn frustrating. Too afraid of taking a principled stand on anything.
Remember, Clinton and his wife both supported the Iraq War, not only initially, but long after it was clear that it was a disaster (and long after others like Edwards, Kerry, and Murtha figured out it was one). So personally, I really wish he'd just shut up. I'd prefer him a million times to Bush, but he was a really overrated president who set liberalism back decades.

Bill Clinton was 100% correct. What is the matter with current Democratic office-holders?
