Dipnotes

I find something about the idea of an official State Department blog slightly ridiculous. Predictably, it features a preposterously long legal notice. Mark Goldberg is optimistic Foreign Policy's "Passport" blog less so.

Why do they have a blog, exactly? Why can't Bush or Cheney or Condi, or hell Rummy or Colin, have a blog?
