I'm getting the sense that Felix Salmon really doesn't like Ben Stein.

I think this story demonstrates the basic fact-- Stein is a con man. For the most part, it's the 'short con'-- show up and take whatever the victim has in his pockets. Unfortunately, it looks like the Times has fallen for the 'long con'-- after you take what the victim has in his pockets, you send him home to get the rest.

I don't get any impression of Salmon's feelings about Stein one way or the other. I do see that Salmon points out weaknesses and outright mistakes in things Stein has said or written, but that doesn't tell me anything about whether or not Salmon "likes" him.

Stein jumped the shark long ago. He's a hack of the worst kind. The high point of his career was his 15 seconds in Ferris Beuller's Day Off; not too much of an accomplishment to say the least.

For example, he headlines an anti-evolution movie to come out soon.

Sad, sad, sad...

Salmon has every reason to despise Ben Stein.

Where did the page go? I was reading it a few minutes ago but when i tried to refresh I get a "Page not Found"?
