Yikes! I guess the good news is that the pyroclastic flow will peter out about 30 miles from my house. The bad news is that my house will be under 40 feet of ash. But I guess it will be pretty bad for everyone in the world.
Well, if it explodes, at least we could stop worrying about global warming.
No, Al, your job is to try convincing everyone the supervolcano is just another left-wing hoax.
They could build a giant tube into space so it doesn't rain ash on us.
Otherwise, we could all add pneumatic hinges to our houses so they turn upside down and go underground when it blows like in that Scooby Doo episode.
I could never vote for a candidate who's objectively pro-magma.
It's probably nothing, but just to be on the safe side, I think it best to put all supervillains under 24 hr watch.

I guess the idea is that the Krakatoa-like explosion fills the air with ash and particulates, and we have a nuclear winter scenario in which crops fail, etc.

Not meaning to suggest it's certain or going to happen anytime soon, but my understanding is that it would be a global event.
