Right, as though that's never happened before!

It's not till you have to try to make a reference that you realize how few Daft Punk lyrics there actually are.
The Secret Service needs to implement a Captcha check at events.
What a waste of a click. Can't you hold out for something that actually vaguely resembles heckling by a robot before treating it as worth a blog post? If someone had brought in a robot and had it heckle, even if it was just playing a recorded message or having its every move controlled by a human, that would be one thing, but a person dressed as a robot?
Well, of course: Bill Clinton has been heckled by right-wing blogs forever. The difference between exact regurgitation and robotically following instructions can not be perceived by humanly possible measurement.
"Can't you hold out for something that actually vaguely resembles heckling by a robot before treating it as worth a blog post? "
You said it! I was deeply disappointed.
I like the disclaimer on the robot's web site: "NOTE: MR. IFOBCA (Mad Robots In Favor Of Bill Clinton Apologizing) IS NOT RELATED TO, OR ENDORSED BY, MR. ROBOTO."
Can we be sure it wasn't a terminator unit sent back from the future? Very lifelike...
Bill's parting shot wasn't bad (he suggested the protester find a more enviro-friendly way to protest next time), but a better line would have been:
"Well, I can honestly say that's the first time I've been heckled by a robot... if you don't count Al Gore."
Ah well, an opportunity lost...
Speaking of Terminators...
Summer Glau!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Roll out, Kristanna Locken!
Can't wait for the "Sarah Connor Chronicles" - I've got the pilot episode on my "hard" drive.
When I first saw the headline, about a professor who protested in a robot suit, I thought it was my old friend Dan Lyons. He teaches social philosophy at Colorado State, in Ft. Collins, and has this web site:
Danlyons.blogspot.com
My own blog is at this address.

The last I looked, he has a picture of himself, in a robot suit, on his blog. He predicts that, when our US military is completely composed of robots, our government can succeed in making war against the people of our own country, and in establishing a fascist dictatorship.
I'm a fifth-generation northeast Iowan, living in Cedar Falls. Cresco, my home town, is the same as that of Dan Lyons.

Clearly just an attempt to remind people of the Sister Soulja moment.
