Where's the part where he makes fun of Heath Ledger?
i like the part where fallows congratulates our host on accurately predicting that bush would "hit it out of the park!"
The link is brokeddd.
His "a" tag is missing the "h" in "href"
booooooooring
but that's bush's fault, not fallows'
He missed President Bush 's claim that "there has not been another attack on our soil since 9/11." In November 2001, he described the anthrax attacks as "a second wave of terrorist attacks upon our country" and repeatedly described the attacks as the work of terrorists.
Four Americans have died as a result of these acts of terrorism…The Postal Service and the FBI have offered a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to the arrest and the conviction of the anthrax terrorists…We do not yet know who sent the anthrax — whether it was the same terrorists who committed the attacks on September the 11th, or whether it was the — other international or domestic terrorists. We do know that anyone who would try to infect other people with anthrax is guilty of an act of terror…I’m proud of our citizens’ calm and reasoned response to this ongoing terrorist attack.
Along with bad grammar and typos, we now have links that don't work - the latest one "We're Number Three" doesn't work either...
Meanwhile, from the article:
"[Some place in every SOU speech, the president has to say “And so this evening, the state of the union is….” followed by some synonym for “good.” “Strong,” “resolute,” “challenged but determined,” etc. I suspect that “cautiously optimistic” wouldn’t cut it. Usually the magic phrase appears in the first minute of the speech, or the last minute. Bush took the last-minute approach.]'
If you watched the movie, "Triple X: State of the Union", Peter Strauss as the President says it immediately.
That's before the Secretary of Defense tries to kidnap and assassinate him, only to be foiled by Ice Cube, two NSA agents, and a gang of black car jackers.
Art apparently does not adequately imitate life.
