Please don't invite McArdle onto the table. I don't need to see you trounce her feeble quasi-economic-centered mind via webcast. And whenever she opens her mouth, I tend to click away.

Doing your part to fight America's problem with obesity, eh?

Quick thought: Ambinder would make a good moderator for a debate and The Atlantic has the credibility to actually get and host some good policy debates or Congressional debates. If you have all this credibility from publishing for a zillion years you may as well use it for something. Be the establishment, Danny.

So, when do you guys start making out?

One thing about the stimulus -- both parties are shameless about sending checks to voters. They don't want to do a payroll tax holiday that would have the same cost and take effect quicker because they don't get the glory of handing out checks. It's pathetic.

Da best Table Eva!

Most animated discussion. Why do Marc and Ross back away from the obvious reality of the lobbying behind bankruptcy reform?

Very enjoyable to see you guys take down the vacant philosophy known as economic conservatism.

Marc does a pretty great Thompson impression.

What's Douthat's deal anyway? Does he just like to be against good things (effective stimulus) out of Conservative Principle but is also declines to advocate bad things (regressive tax cuts, unfair bankruptcy laws) to preserve his Maverick Cachet?

Is there a reason these aren't on iTunes?

Seriously guys, can't you do some of your blogging from a treadmill at home? I'm worried about your longterm health

Poor Ross. It's like a tutorial where Marc is the tutor helping bookshy Ross defend his tattered argument from the slashing of his brainy colleague Matt.
