Where the hell has she been? Has she been pulling a Rip Van Winkle? McCain being a straight shooter was a media creation. It was never based on the truth. His voting record is as right wing as it gets.

This is what passes for punditry? One person who doesn't know what he's talking about linking to someone else who doesn't know what she's talking about?

"Go to the back of the line" is highly misleading, but not in the way that she understands it. It doesn't mean that IllegalAliens would go home. It means that they'd continue to live here legally, but those already "in the line" would get citizenship before them. It's misleading because the "line" is constantly being replenished and also because they'd get to live here while those in foreign countries who'd applied would actually not get their citizenship before them.

Let me suggest that, to avoid future embarrassment, MattY reads what the other side says about these issues rather than just idiots at TNR. I've got thousands of posts in my archives, and I'm sure that those working at CIS or similar would be more than willing to help MattY see all the ways he's wrong.

No, really? Why not do something out of the ordinary and link to one of them? I mean, it's not as if your continued supply of underwear relies upon those white supremacists who frequent your site and the unfortunate few who mistakenly click on your blogwhoring links.

No, McCain doesn't talk straight 100% of the time. But he does it a heck of a lot more than anyone else running for President. Do you really want the Democratic nominee to get into a battle with McCain over who is more willing to talk straight?
