More proof for my theory that Fox News is essentially a televised British tabloid.
Oh yes, they're better. Media Matters did an estimate on this. Once in a while you will see CNN go there, but it's much rarer.

Whether CNN or MSNBC are any better is a valid point, but I don't think it's *the* point.
The point is that Fox News features a serious of loud mouths who position themselves as voice of moral seriousness and outrage - whilst simultaneously profiting from titillation.
Bill O'Reilly and Hannity are political porn for stupid people.
Hell yes they are better.
And you'd know that if you got off the internet and watched some cable news, you lazy bum! ;-D
MSNBC`s non-political shows are all either death-porn or jail specials.

It's a bit like comparing pond scum to blue-green algae. They may be the same color, but the similarities end there.
Fox news is the gift that keeps on giving...an embarrassment to journalism, to humanity.
They can't even dialogue without constantly shouting and interrupting each other. They should all go work in the trading pit on Wall Street. Disgusting people, most of them.
And then there's that Shepperd clown, who delights in insulting women guests who dare express an actual point of view.

The irony being that Sky News (Murdoch's British 24/7 news channel) isn't that bad. Those damned regulatory standards for news broadcasters.
At the risk of pointing out the obvious, Jaim Lawrence sure seems to know a lot about Fox News considering how much she hates them. I hate Fox News as well, but I couldn't tell you how Shep Smith treats female guests that "dare express an actual point of view."
The end of the URL that MattY links to is "utm_source=rgemail", which also seems to be used by foxattacks.com, bravenewfilms.org, and other interesting sites. That isn't damning or revelatory in any way, but perhaps MattY will forget to remove that from future URLs, like "mccainsucks.us?dnc_central_source=captive_bloggers" or something.
As for why someone would be trying not to hold Fox accountable but simply to redbait them, don't expect MattY to go in to that. Too much thinking.

The brilliance of this is that the smut only reinforces their right-wing anti-sex craziness. When some Fox talking head starts ranting on about the degredation of our culture and the sleaze that fills our airwaves, most of us would just roll our eyes. But Fox News viewers are like, "no shit, every time I turn on the news there's smut everywhere. It's horrible, we need more Republicans to restore our moral values." You get your porn and your self-righteous moral fury all wrapped up in one neat package. Rupert Murdock is a fucking genious.

Yes, they are better. I've never seen those channels do this kind of thing. I've seen it plenty of times on Fox.
