Getting Out the Vote

12 Feb 2008 01:07 pm

My colleague Marc Ambinder has been nominated for a Golden Dot Award in the best political coverage category. You should vote for the man, he does great work.

i like you better.

i like you better.

I'm not going to vote for a guy who likened John Edwards' staying in the race after Iowa to an old smelly sock you couldn't get rid of.

Too many categories.

I'm sure Ambinder does do good work, but when he liveblogs election results his fonts/typefaces render his blog unreadable. Maybe he's fixed that.

Yeah, I find the blog unreadable due to the formatting too.

Sorry, Ambinder doesn't deserve our votes, and certainly won't get this one.

Marc is a Clinton shill whose best work seems to be pubishing Clinton campaign memos or passing on pathetic spin.

Maybe he once had a soul, but Ambinder sold it over the past few months and is now what is called a total joke.

I don't know whether Ambinder pushes a particular political candidate. I do know that he offers generally nothing new or interesting. You can get what Ambinder usually posts simply by receiving the emails that campaigns send out themselves.

It's a shame that Ambinder has been given such a prominent position, and does so little with it.

Ah ha ha ha! Ambinder should be fired for being a hack, not given an award.

Playoffs? Playoffs????

I mean, give us a break.

Frankly, seeing Matt pimping Marc like this actually loses Matt a few points himself.

No.

try and keep your dignity Matt. Ambinder is a hack and a moron.
