Yesterday, The Atlantic debuted a new feature available on the homepage and also at its own URL called "the Current." The idea is to take several of the day's most interesting stories, every day, and combine a brief take by a member of the Atlantic family with a curated guide to the best opinions available on the subject around the web.

Just wanted to point out that "the current" is also the name of Minnesota Public Radio's (relatively) new alternative music radio station.

I thought that's what my posts were for.
Maybe the name should be cahnged to "The Other Current".

Unfortunately at the moment the RSS feed does not include authors' names, so for someone reading in a newsreader (which is a lot of people) there's no way to tell who wrote a given post. Given that part of the fun of reading the Atlantic writers is their distinctive, individual voices, this is a serious problem (but easy to fix).
