Did they have enough coat-tails to bring their party into a legislative majority?

What, no fighting about hanging chads?

Snarky suits you.

wonderful news. maybe we can get back to some concern over a lot of dead tibetians while we get ready to engage in the Olympics orgy. Where's the outrage here.

At least they are stuck holding a lot of US dollars in an inflationary period. take that.

Before you get to make such snarky comments maybe you can clean up your own stables.

It was the "Miniature Olympic flags for some, Tibetan activists crushed under tank treads for others!" line that cinched it.

Unsurprisingly, Larry Kudlow called this the wrong way.

Don't blame us; we made sure you voted for Kodos.

Sincerely,

Diebold Of China

keeping America's Bankers happy, humble, and wise. congratulations to America's Bankers on their recent electoral success, and to the continued happiness of all members of the Chinese Communist Party!

May their continued propping up of the dollar be fruitful and prosperous!

And may they please, please, please not notice that our stock markets barely dropped today, while theirs, along with their fellow bankers in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore, were hit by a ricksaw pulled by Brian Urlacher.

do you know anything about China to make such a comment?

Email to Matthew Yglesias,

First I am a Democrat and have been too many years to count.

When I first saw Obama speak at the 04 convention it was a thrill and I knew he would go far.
But now that I learn more about him and his history I no long believe what he says and I will not vote for him..

Just in my circle of friends and family we all have changed our minds about Obama.

Hillary is our candidate and for the sake of the party she better be your candidate in the general election.
Join us in a safe and prosperous future.

PS: Blocking Clinton bloggers is so Soviet Union, don't you think!

Pleased to see this site does not block us.
But so many do like Kos and Huffington.
Thank you.

There's something about the avoidance of punctuation, the tendency to drop sentence subjects and/or write in fragments, and the use of weirdly phrased commands that lends boohall's off-topic rant a beautiful and mysterious quality. I've been trying to mash that last comment into haiku form, but without satisfying results.

Let me guess, to preempt our old friend Idiotic, the reason boohall's posting in this thread is that China is GREAT NEWS...FOR HILLARY!!!

Could someone explain to boohall the difference between a comment and an email? And I'm with Kraz on the haunting beauty: the "safe and prosperous future" bit slew me.
