Not to go all Simmons here, but I think it's time to institute relegation in the NBA. The Knicks roster should be moved down to some minor-league franchise, like Grand Rapids, and give some other group of players a chance to defend one of the flagship franchises in the NBA. The current setup is an abomination and an embarrassment, much like its President, GM, and Coach.
Every time I see the 2005 NBA Championship Banner flying in the AT&T Center, I thank Isiah Thomas for taking Malik Rose's contract off the Spurs hands. The Spurs haven't made many front office mistakes in the last ten years, but Malik's contract was one of them. Fortunately, the Knicks could ride to the rescue.
Knicks fans deserve an 0-82 season. Keep Isiah for another year.
It's a very sad season for the Knicks, but in defense of them, they had decided to start a couple of their young players to test their skills before off season trades are considered
The real question is, how many 38 year old power forwards can the Knicks get for him?
That you're making a post about the NBA today, of all possible days in all possible years, shows the depth of your depraved and inhuman anti-college-hoops bias.

Isaiah Thomas doesn't get the credit he deserves. I mean, do you know how hard it is to take a scrappy, high-energy bruiser who does all the little things, and turn him into an undersized, underskilled, undertalented and overpaid salary cap albatross in the time it takes to sign a contract?
