It's still a blog, right? It didn't get turned into an independent motorbike parts retailer or something along the way?

Wonkette sucks. Grow a pair and argue a point of view or your "satire" is as toothless as Saturday Night Live.

The internet is no place for bipartisan sacklessness. That's a job for CNN.

I don't get it. What's so hot about Wonkette anyway? I heard it was the bomb when AMC used to discuss anal sex all the time before she moved to Swampland.

The problem with Wonkette post-Ana Marie Cox is that there's no sense of inside gossip. It's just a lot of LOLcat-ish mockery of headlines with a huge dollop of intentional dumbness, of the "some senator said something, and who cares?" variety.

So who puts the -ette in Wonkette now, Ken Layne? I do find it amusing that the blog title no longer reflects or refers to any particular individual that writes on the blog. If Matt ever feels like retiring, I hope this blog can continue to be called "Matthew Yglesias" with completely different writers.

I do find it amusing that the blog title no longer reflects or refers to any particular individual that writes on the blog.

And you know what else? There aren't really many lakes in Los Angeles, and there's not a lot of Jazz in Utah. And Carl Karcher no longer owns Carl's Jr. (because he's dead).

People change, but good brands are forever.

So it's not just me who thinks Wonkette is completely lame now.

Ha ha.. like how when somebody wins a primary in a state, they say something like "OBAMA IS PRESIDENT OF VIRGINIA!!!" That never gets old!

I comment on wonkette bcuz they rly rly listen.

Did Ann Marie say who got ass-fucked on this deal?

Reminds me of Robert Cringely over at InfoWorld.

He stopped being Bob Cringely at InfoWorld and some female took over the column. He moved to NPR and runs a blog there now under his same real name while somebody else does the column at InfoWorld.

Like the old saw, "On the Internet no one knows you're a dog."

I heard it was the bomb when AMC used to discuss anal sex all the time before she moved to Swampland.

A hot yet literate blonde talking about anal sex is always going to get pageviews on the net. This was the secret to the site's success. They need to find another hot yet literate blonde to mix sexual innuendo with political gossip.

Ana Marie Cox used to be great, especially before Wonkette when she had a terrific blog whose name I forgot. But now she's on her way to becoming just another CNN talking head.
