More hooker scandals: "The co-founder and former CEO of the liberal-progressive Democracy Radio and husband of U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow was caught in February by a Troy police sting aimed at catching prostitutes, according to a police report." In striking contrast to Elliot Spitzer, however, the John in this case is alleged to have paid a 20 year-old prostitute just $150. Houses are cheap in Michigan, too.

Everything's cheaper in a one-state depression.
Troy's police spotted an advertisement online at backpage.com, which read "a young blond hottie here for your total enjoyment" in Troy under the name "Kasey." The posting had rates for 15 minutes ($100) and by the half hour ($160) and hour ($225).
"Those are all red flags for prostitution," Scherlinck said.
That's some fine detective work there, Columbo.
Here's the prostitute in question since everybody had so much fun with Ms. Dupre a few weeks ago. Haven't found her myspace yet.
Remember when Yasmin Bleeth was busted for coke in the D? Really, anyone with any profile needs to stay out of Michigan. No good can come of it.
Some pol's spouse hires a prostitute. Why is this newsworthy?
Thomas L. Athans was stopped Feb. 26 by undercover officers investigating a possible prostitution ring in a room at the Residence Inn near Big Beaver and Interstate 75.
because where else would it be...
So ... he paid for 27 minutes?
What, you don't think you have to tip your hooker? What are you, European?
Don't the cops have anything better to do? Even in the northern burbs?
Admirable frugality on Athens's part.
According to the Detroit News, Senator Stabenow's husband paid $150 for a blow job and was in the hotel room for 15 minutes. My hunch is that the price was based on the sex act, not the time. More important, Senator Stabenow is a Clinton-backing super-delegate.

He paid $100 for the 15 minutes, and tipped another $50. Really quite the gentleman.
Not so fast. This may seem cheap relative to Spitzer, but it's not that cheap. Spitzer's hooker was supposedly $1000 an hour, while this guy paid $600 an hour ($150 for 15 minutes). So Michigan, I don't think, qualifies as offering a significant discount, especially taking into account that these two ladies don't seem to be exactly serving the same market.
Looking at Dupre, I wasn't sure she was worth her rate. On the other hand, Spitzer has more money, and when you have a ton of money, the rates look different, so you probably pay more for less and don't mind.
People don't know it, but you can hire a hell of a lot of professional porn stars for "escort" service as well, and the rates are high. But you'd guess the looks and the performances are better than your average pro hooker.

From Richard's first link.
Age 30's
Year of Birth 1959
Regarding 'age' - 'year of birth' is usually a more accurate reflection of the 'current' age.
Ya don't say!
Yeah, Nina ain't young any more! But I saw some pics of her recently, and she still ain't too bad for 49.
""That's why I hate to get lumped in with the rest of pornographers. I took great joy in this business because I was hired to f---. I never had to f--- to get hired.
"It's sleazy to f--- to get somewhere. Believe me, I've tried it all over Hollywood. It doesn't guarantee anything.
""Everybody who doesn't f--- the actresses takes great pride in that. They feel set apart. They don't feel as sleazy as the next guy. I had a two-year fling with Harold Lime. That was my choice. I've never f---ed anybody in this business to get a job."
thanks for the enlightening links itt
was caught in February by a Troy police sting aimed at catching prostitutes certainly makes it rather unclear as to the guy's alleged role . . .

How strange. I mean, he paid $150, but according to the story "The [prostitute's Internet] posting had rates for 15 minutes ($100) and by the half hour ($160) and hour ($225)." So ... he paid for 27 minutes?
