This week's TPM Café book club is on Heads in the Sand and I have an introductory post up on the trouble with center-left security policy elites who just can't quit preventive war and weird schemes to undermine existing legitimacy-granting institutions.

Please tell me TPM bothered to get someone to Yglesias's left for this discussion. Otherwise this just becomes a protracted exercise in "How much should we bomb them?"
I want you to know, that I pre-ordered your book on Amazon as soon as you mentioned it, but I ordered it with "Nixonland" so it won't ship for another month.
How irritating.
Shorter: Matt sucks up to mentor Josh Marshall to hawk his book.
Meanwhile, Matt still won't talk about Iran in any substantive way.
Anybody want to ask Matt how his "liberal internationalism" would deal with Iran?
He won't answer, so don't bother.

"the book were here now to discuss."
Wow, you don't even proofread when someone is doing you a favor of helping you promote your book. Did you proofread in Skocpol's classes?
