Hornets (and, yes, they're for real) center Tyson Chandler talks about, among other things, his disappointment in the Wire finale. He also says that his "Sega was too big to put in a bag" which doesn't jibe at all with my recollection of Sega size.

God, I can't even remember the last time I heard someone talk about their "Sega."
Nostalgia floods me, even as I recall I was always a Nintendo fan boy (until Final Fantay moved to Sony whereupon I switched) and hated them.
By god they were the enemy, the godless heathen!
The Hornets are good.
But if we're really lucky, we'll see a Suns-Celtics finals. That will be some fun basketball to watch.
Matt - I know you've been hating on the Celtics, and I can understand being tired of Boston fans, but... the Celtics don't deserve it. KG, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce - that's a pretty classy and talented 3.
For the record, http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/ba/Sega_Genesis_original_model.jpg/800px-Sega_Genesis_original_model.jpg
what do you mean by for reals? they get past the first round? probably, though that's no given this year (e.g., warriors could beat anyone if they play their best). all the way to finals? waaaaaaaaaaaaay doubtful given the competition and new orleans's lack of playoff experience.
Uh, the original model Genesis wasn't very big--it was smaller than the NES, and the cartridges in particular were significantly tinier. What did that context-free picture prove, Andrew?
Isn't Tyson Chandler too young to have had a Sega Genesis?
Never mind - I see Chandler would have been about 11 or 12 when Genesis was in its prime.
Anyway, Sega Genesis was fun in college, but it was a shame that when they came out with NHL '94 they took out the injuries and blood that made NHL '93 so fun.
Good thing the Bulls let Chandler go so that they could get Ben Wallace. And then let Ben Wallace go so that they could get Drew Gooden and Larry Hughes. 'cause we don't need the guy who is #3 in the league in rebound production.
I used to love Coach K College Hoops for Sega. I would take the '95 Bruins and play against the '67 Bruins, and I would lose every time. I could handle Kareem, but Lynn Shackelford would just freaking light. it. up. Dude would go for like 50 points!
The Sega system's big, yeah yeah yeah.
It's not small, no no no.

Master system? Genesis? Sega CD? 32X? What are we talking about here?
