The basic content is offensive - and the attitude expressed is exactly the kind of tinfoil hattery that people like Wright engage in. Blaming other people for self induced problems is never a great way to get ahead, regardless of race, color, or creed.
And when the inevitable claims come in that "I don't understand what black people have to put up" come through, riddle me this: why have Jews historically managed to be successful, when the levels of persecution they've faced is orders of magnitude worse than anything that any minority in the US has ever had to deal with?

James Robertson - 1) It's a song, and a classic. 2) How is police brutality a "self-induced" problem for black people? (Absent "black po-lice showing out for the white cop"...) Seriously, is this your automatic response to any complaint from a black person about anything?

Well there's the whole "peculiar institution" of slavery which required that blacks be beneath whites ... I mean, it's built right into our country's DNA thru the Constitution, and continued both in law or in effect until the Civil Rights movement.
Or that slavery prevented "Blacks" (in America we describe this minority by color, because we cannot describe them by heritage) from finding a niche industry to grow and prosper? Every other immigrant group had the opportunity to find an industry to latch on to once here, including the Jews.
Or the continued segregation and racist laws that target blacks out of fear (Crack cocaine's (a more "black" drug) million year sentence vs. normal cocaine weekend jail getaway)
When the law and society has been against you for 200 years, it's tough to expect a worldview that values success in a system that's continuously let you down.
Kermit understands this and is clearly pissed off. It's not easy being green.

I agree with James Robertson, not only in his excellent pastiche of our lunchtime chats at Pesach Yeshiva Middle School, but also in his shrewd assessment of the superior magnitude of suffering of the Jewish people.
I mean, riddle me this: after all that persecution, blacks get NWA, and all we can come up with (after 5000 years!) is 2 Live Jews and Matisyahu? I just don't understand what Jewish people have to put up with...

I've seen people get a bit more than a weekend....
Its weird how brilliantly Kermit's lipsynching works, especially given the long time between cuts, when the other muppets lipsynch about as well as you'd expect, ie in a rather forced manner.
