What's up with blog posts suddenly showing up later, even though the time stamp shows they're in order by time?

I swear this post didn't exist the last time I went through the headlines.

AJ's tuition money pays for other people's financial aid, and because he's extremely stupid, he's not going to get that fancy job that should go to the scholarship kid. Or even the rich smart one. Well, generally, anyway.

This analysis spends too much time on the AJ factor and not enough time on the Carmella factor - wealthy parents are more likely to have an expectation that their children are college bound, and beyond that, that they're likely to attend prestigious colleges. Wealthy parents who are willing to put the screws on their kids to follow an expected career path has, I think, a fair amount of explanatory power.
