Beverly Hills--That's Where I Want to Be

First Lethal Weapon. Then Die Hard. Then Indiana Jones. And now...

One advantage to starting a series when your star is 23-years-old, however, is that you can make a sequel a quarter of a century later and he will still be mobile. Still, with Brett Ratner directing, my expectations for this are not high.

Oh the humanity! Brett Ratner should just ask Uwe Bowll to come on as producer so that we can just completely destroy the memory's of my childhood.

I'm trying to decide what will be worse on the soundtrack: An attempted update or leaving it stuck in the EuroTechno version of the '80s.

Does not want.

I hope they bring in John Williams and re-do the soundtrack with a full orchestra.

I've tried to block out the traumatic memories, but wasn't there a Beverly Hills Cop III a few years ago that was one of the worst movies ever made? Is this really a trend that needs to continue?

Don't forget Rocky and Rambo.

Okay, but there's always the danger of tragedy befalling Williams, and being stuck with Danny Elfman.

Could it be any worse than BHCIII?

That car he used to drive - the "crappy blue Chevy Nova"?

I used to drive one just like it - except it didn't roll back when you parked it.

The last "Die Hard" was the best of them, except for the first one. However, even I didn't buy McCain rolling around on the back of a jet...That was just stupid.

Can't beat Maggie Q, though!

I'm sure they'll cast Adam West in the next Batman movie just to follow the trend.
