I have no idea whether or not S.V. Date's analysis of whether or not Barack Obama can get Florida Jews to vote for him is correct (makes for an interesting read, though) but I was interested to see that according to his byline he wrote a book called Jeb: America's Next Bush. Not wanting to disappoint Mr. Kevin but, given the number of Israel bashers on Senator Obamas' team, he will have a hard time convincing any Jews who are not themselves Israel bashers (e.g. Mr. Yglesias) to vote for him. The addition of former Representative Bonier just adds to the list.
"Israel bashers" == people who aren't as bigoted as yourself.
Obama will get the usual 75-80%. Republicans have been predicting that their Middle East policies would attract Jewish voters for 35 years, and it still hasn't happened. We are not idiots. Democrats and Republicans both do enough for Israel. But there is a clear difference between Democrats and Republicans on separation of church and state here in America.
How many polls have to come out indicating that this is wrong before people stop saying it?

Over 40% of Jewish Dems prefer Obama to Clinton. In the general, polls show that Obama beats McCain among Jews, and Obama's margin is increasing. Facts don't seem to matter much to SLC. Um, the year 2000? I don't think its gets swingier than that. And in 2006 Florida, although electing a GOP governor (but very much a moderate who has reversed much of Jeb Bush's policies) managed to return a Democratic senator and unseat a couple of long-time GOP Congresscritters. Chances are more of them will be retired this year. Maybe Obama can't win Florida, but I think the state is in play more generally-- especially as Anglos leave for Tennessee and the Carolinas.

SLC is the sort of Jew who ends up eventually joining the Illinois Nazis because "regular" Jews weren't extreme enough for him.
As for SLC's scurrilous personal attacks, if he had the balls to post under his own name, he could be judged on his merits (not that he has any, undoubtedly.) Speaking as a person named Jeb (and not a fan of Jeb Bush), both the book title and any national political campaign by Jeb Bush are things I really do not look forward to.
Well, there is the possibility that a lot of Jews think the SLC approach to Israeli Jewish security is stupid rather than brave, insane rather than noble, and a failure rather than something to be ratcheted up a million times over.

I notice that he has not indicated any willingness to cede his property in Los Angeles back to its rightful owners, Native Americans. By the way, the number of Palestinians killed by the IDF pales in comparison to the number of Native Americans killed by the US Cavalry.
