I'd really been hoping that the Bush administration could find some way to use their lame duck status to make it easier to expose workers to toxins, so imagine my delight when it turned out they were actually "moving with unusual speed" (which turns out to mean breaking the law) to do so. Heck of a job.

I'm sure that fucktards Mixner and Al will be along to tell us that the Washington Post story is nothing but left wing propaganda and that they will have a suitable spin to claim that it actually improves worker safety.
It's really true that just when you think the Bush a******* have finally hit bottom they surprise you. Some Bushie woke up one morning and decided that today was the day to spritz the work force with poisons. And someone else agreed! And someone else said, "Let's hurry!" And someone else agreed! It's like Dorothy and her friends racing down the road to Netherworld Oz.
The motto of the Republican Party, from the scene on the heath in King Lear:
"The worst is not,/ So long as we can say, "This is the worst..."
Wow.
I mean, days like this, you just have to be impressed at the skill of a true artist. It's not just the big, sweeping epics-- your Iraqs, your Katrinas, your 9/11 GWoTs, your deficit, your ruined economy. The mark of a true master is in the little details, like allowing corporations to expose workers to toxins. It's these tiny touches that really affect peoples lives that show the difference between a mere partisan hack, and true greatness.
George W. Bush is an absolute maestro of destruction.
I think you're just jealous the Bush might have come up with a foolproof plan to ensure that a certain percentage of people are exposed to substances so toxic that they gain superpowers.

Just what I needed to perk up my morning -- a stark reminder that this malevolent bunch will be in charge for nearly another 5 months. How much more damage can they wreak?
The Bush/Cheney gang's horrific embrace of war and torture get the most attention, but the lasting damage they have done to the country and the world is so pervasive. It's easy to miss the forest of misdeeds for the giant, poisonous trees of Iraq, "enhanced interogation technicques," and police-state eavesdropping.
